Lara Fortes-Oshiomole, Wife to Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole has resumed her duties as the First Lady of the State barely 24 hours after their lavish wedding.

Lara, alongside the Governor, presented trophies and medals to winners at the third edition of the 10 kilometer Okpekpe Road Race.

Iara who was a model and the former Miss Cape Verde tied the knot with former labour leader and the Edo Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Friday, May 15 at a private marriage registry in the state, with heavyweight politicians of the All Progressive Congress, led by the President-elect Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.
